"This is a sampling of some of my synth compositions. These are created by playing and recording one track at a time using MIDI and multitrack audio recorders. As you will hear I have an eclectic musical style.

You can also hear more music on the Hurricane Creek Band page."

Keyboards & Synthesizers

As you can see most of the equipment in the rack is vintage 80's and 90's technology. The equipment is listed here (top to bottom).

In the Rack

  • Yamaha TX802 FM Tone Generator

  • Yamaha TX81Z FM Tone Generator

  • Ensoniq Mirage 8-bit Sampler

  • Ensoniq ESQ-M Analog Synth

  • Roland Planet S Analog Synth

  • Kurzweil K2000RS w/Orchestral ROM

  • Kurzweil K2000R

  • Kurzweil 1000PX-Plus

  • Kurzweil 1200 Pro-II

  • Kurzweil 1000GX Guitar Expander

  • Kurzweil 1000HX Horn Expander

  • Kurzweil 1000SX String Expander

In addition to the above I use a K2500XS for master keyboard and for sequencing sounds. I also have a K2000S and K2VX keyboard for live gigs and additional voices. The K2000R modules are used primarily for drums, strings and percussion. I've also got a Yamaha DX7-II around here somewhere that I use for FM electric piano sounds when needed.
